In Aceh, four more bodies were found, victims of either the police or rebels. Meanwhile, the rebels seized nine teenage girls and submitted them to questioned them about close relationships with soldiers. The girls were released, but the rebels said the  parents insisted the girls be taken into custody again for "further training." Meanwhile, two policemen and two soldiers were injured in Aceh when soldiers and police clashed when both tried to arrest the same gang leader (the police wanted him for criminal activity, the army agents wanted him for information about religious extremists.
