The government has suspended a joint committee with the rebels that was monitoring security in Aceh. The government was angry with the rebels for not agreeing to leave oil and gas operations in the province alone. Meanwhile, four more rebels and civilians died in Aceh. In Central Sulawesi, police killed six Christians who were attacking Moslems.
