In southwest Pakistan, Baluchi separatists attacked high voltage power lines, damaging four towers. It will take twelve days to repair the damage.  Power has been cut in the provincial capital of Baluchistan, Quetta. In Karachi, Pakistan, gunmen killed a Sunni religious leader and his bodyguard, which will probably lead to increased violence between Sunni and Shia extremist groups.
