In Kashmir, Indian police, acting on a tip, caught a group of  separatist rebel leaders and killed four of them. The rebels have been having a hard time of late, with declining support in Kashmir, and from the Pakistani government across the border. Less militant separatist groups in Kashmir are willing to negotiate with India, while India and Pakistan are getting down to serious negotiation.
