The government has warned that FARC attacks on roads, bridges and power facilities will probably increase. Such attacks have left about 11 percent of the country without power. In Medellin, police killed five FARC rebels and arrested 30 others. In the south, FARC surrounded a town, cutting off power and phone lines.
