Unrest continues in Tibet. Not a lot, but ethnic Chinese civilians or officials get beaten or killed from time to time. Flags or posters get torn down. Small bombs go off, government structures burn down. The Chinese accuse the Dali Lama, the exiled supreme religious leader, it publicly blamed the Dali Lama for being the cause of all the unrest. This is not true, as the Dali Lama has repeatedly refused to get behind violent resistance to the Chinese occupation of Tiber. If the Dali Lama, or his successor, should ever change the official attitude, things could heat up considerably in Tiber.
