ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 8, 2013) A chaff round is launched from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) during a live fire exercise. Carter Hall is participating in Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the East Coast of the U.S. in preparation for a deployment this spring.
