Britain reports that 580 Army personnel, along with 41 sailors and 14 airmen, tested positive for the use of illegal drugs during the first ten months of 2000, compared to 485, 33, and 10 personnel respectively for the same period of 1999. About 98% of those who tested positive were discharged.--Stephen V Cole
