The Canadian Air Force plans to modify two of its A310 airlifters into aerial tankers. The conversion will cost about $63 million. The first will be modified in 2003, the second in 2004. Canada hasn't had aerial tankers since retiring its Boeing-707 tankers in 1997.--Stephen V Cole
