Here is where you can find information about the Milgames listerv.

What is it? This is a private (not everyone can get in) email discussion list (listserv) for those interested in developing professional wargames. This means people in the military and those who develop wargames for the commercial market. It is an unofficial (no government support) and unclassified listserv. Milgames is a place where military game developers can ask others military and, most importantly, civilian game developers questions. There are plenty of people on the list with extensive experience in military and commercial game development experience. Rather than wonder how to solve a game related problem, or perhaps stumble around forever looking for a solution, just throw a query out on Milgames. You'll get answers pretty quickly.

Who can use it? Anyone with a .mil or .gov email address can get on. Anyone else (namely, commercial game developers or similar folks with something to contribute) have to send a message to Jim Dunnigan describing your qualifications and he will determine if you can get onto the list.

Who runs it? Jim Dunnigan administers the list, Yahoo Groups provides the server resources for the list. There are a number of other folks who are regular contributors and founding members of the list.

How do I get on it? To join the list, send blank e-mail to milgames-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Once you have been approved by the list owner you will receive an e-mail detailing the commands that are available.
