The WFP (World Food Program) said that in a three-day long operation that ended November 16, it had dropped 99 tons of food aid into the Kauda region of central Sudan's Nuba Mountains. The airplanes making the aid drops flew from the Sudanese town of El Obeid. Zthe area is held by the SPLA.
