The new parliament, and government, has been tainted by corruption. Several members of parliament and government officials have been caught, and removed from office. It is feared that this will cause the civil war to revive. It's also reported that many of the child soldiers who have recently been demobilized, have gone back to the armed groups they previously belonged to.
