Israel has released another group of 151 Palestinian prisoners, and ordered the dismantling of some of the new Jewish structures in Palestinian territory. But the Palestinians want all 1,800 Palestinian prisoners released, and all of the Jewish settlers out of the Palestinian West Bank area. Progress is slow in resolving these problems. Israel has also opened up a safe passage route between the West Bank and Gaza. This goes through Israeli territory and no one is sure yet that it will work, and not be a security problem for the Israelis.
