Pakistan launched it's second Pakistan built submarine. It was a French design, a diesel powered Agosta 90-B. Construction began in 1998.
In Kashmir, both sides continued firing artillery, machine-guns and mortars across the Line of Control, leaving one Pakistani civilian dead. 

In Kashmir, rebel violence left 11 civilians, one policemen and two rebels dead.
