There is rarely much violence in Pakistani controlled Kashmir, as the Pakistani occupiers are, like most Kashmiris, Moslem. Some of the violent incidents in Pakistani Kashmir are blamed on "Indian agents," but others are simply criminals doing their thing. Indian controlled Kashmir was the scene of a gun battle that left six rebels dead.
