Continuing rebel violence left four rebels and a soldier dead in several incidents. Six civilians and four police were also injured. The death toll in Kashmir over the last few days is now 103. India blames Pakistan for most of the killings, saying that Pakistan ordered the rebel groups it controlled to go on the rampage to derail the peace talks between India and the major Kashmiri rebel group.
