China has picked Major General Liu Yuejun to command the 1,000-man garrison that will move into Macau when it reverts to Chinese control on 20 Dec of this year. Major General Liu last commanded the 123rd Infantry Division of the 41st Group Army in the Guangzhou Military Region.--Stephen V Cole
