Turkeys Grand Mufti, Mufti Mehmet Nuri Yilmaz, said during a visit to Bulgaria that he was working to fight the spread of radical Islam in Turkey and in Bulgarias ethnic Turk community. The mufti said he intends to work with Bulgarian Muslims to prevent "fundamentalist groups from infiltrating Islamic education."
