Pakistan, working with the UN, is planning on sending home over 1.5 Afghan refugees  in the next year or two. In the past year, 1.8 million Afghans have done so. The Pakistanis are glad to see them go, as the refugees were difficult to police and tended to produce a lot of bandits, "holy warriors" and, of course, the Taliban.
