An Afghan leader in the south has arrested 16 men as suspected al Qaeda supporters. The men are believed to belong to Hezb-i-Islami, a radical Islamic group led by warlord Gulbuddin Hekmatyar (who is wanted for backing several recent terrorist attacks).
