Major Jamie Robertson, a spokesman for the Canadian Forces attached to U.S. Central Command in Tampa, FLA. told the press that snipers from Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and members of the top-secret JTF-2 are fighting holdout al-Qaeda fighters on a mountain range near the Pakistan border. This is the first time any of JTF-2's ongoing operations have been made public. There are similar Australian, Danish, French, German and Norwegian contingents operating outside Gardez.
