CJH    RE:By 2012, Moslem scholars will publish evidence that Jesus did not die on the cross.   2/27/2006 1:26:32 PM
There is a saying to the effect that no civilization can rise above its conception of a god. If you look at the Europe of Mohammed's day you will see an unbelievably backward place. If you look at the Middle East of Mohammed's day you see a place rich in the legacy of classical civilization. Fast forward a thousand and more years and you see that the formerly superstitious, backward and barbarous Europe is now the world's leader in the arts and sciences having only recently rediscovered classical learning. You see the Muslim world to be a backward mass of warring tribes. Islam is not a religion of the Bible. It is a facsimile of one at best. Allah was the Sabean moon god of Mohammed's tribe before Mohammed promoted him. Allah is no more the god of the Bible than was Baal or Molech. The whole religion is based on a fabrication and the proof of that is in how it is manifested outwardly. You don't see Christian Americans applying for work and education visas for a college education and for careers in Muslim countries. You don't see fundamentalist Christians flying airplanes into mosques or blowing themselves up on Saudi Arabian busses. You don't see Christians discussing their Christianity with Muslims in Muslim countries in complete freedom. J. Vernon McGee said that you can tell the children of God because of the way they take after their father. You can tell who Muslims don't take after by just watching what they do.

  1. [4.157] And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.
This passage is from the Koran - Sura 4 called The Women.  Isa son of Marium is Jesus son of Mary.  It has long been a Moslem story that Jesus did not die on the cross and in other stories Judas took his place.  Therefore the ressurection was a fraud.

I'm looking at this subject now because I became curious.  Most of the moslem scholarship I find on the subject is utter garbage.

The doctrine of Christianity, officially since the fourth century became the new invention of the Romans. Scriptures combined with Roman paganism produced a severe doctrinal distortion of who Jesus was and what he said. Early unitarians argued that God is One and cannot be divided in three or have three different aspects. Such early records were destroyed, and whoever remained alive to preach the same was tortured or killed. Those records that were kept, "the apocrypha", still exist. The biggest paradox is that Christians know the least of who Jesus really was and what he said. That is because such objective, historical approach would mean renouncing faith for a Christian. But what is there to renounce... the lies of the Romans for the truth of Jesus who said that God is One, worship no other than God Himself. Consider that Jesus? teachings were in Aramaic which is a semitic language like Arabic and in fact very close to Arabic. Muhammad in many thousand million ways was closer to Jesus than any Christian or even Muslim can dream to be. They were both semitic people, they were both Prophets of God, they both taught people to worship no God but God, and all this is no different from what Abraham, Moses, David or any other prophet of God taught.

I wasnt aware that Jesus was a pedophile.  Or that he went out of his way to slaughter Jews because some disagreed with him. Yep  - really close and kindred spirits, Jesus and big Mohammy, with an emphasis on the Ham.

swhitebull -  another member of the so-called Religion of Peace heard from. I prefer to call it the Religion of the Perpetually Offended.

I guess yours is the "Religion of Perpetually Offensive". Aisha was Muhammad's lawfully married wife and the daughter of his closest friend. As for the Jewish community, maybe you do not know that one of Muhammad's wives was Jewish. At the time of war, many Arabs got killed too, not just Jews.

The Jewish community experienced a spiritual revival during the islamic civilisation and their golden age is identified with this period. Then came the crusaders to "help", first with propaganda and then with military action incited violence. It is known that during such military campaigns Muslims and Jews alike, were brutally killed, because they were not Christian. As for Jesus himself, he criticized those who did not follow in God's path, and those who were in power persecuted him. Others that followed him were the true early Christians. Jesus' criticism was directed toward his own community and for their benefit. This was the early Christianity. Then the Romans, in a series of councils created what we have today, and suppresed all those who spoke against the trinitarian theology. Some of what we have is still true, but part of it is modified. I do not mean anything against Christians when I say any of this, but I do have much against Romans for having oppressed and killed the true followers of Christ, and for having tampered with God's scriptures. We are all human after all and free to chose what we want to be.

More then one Christen sect has said Christ did not die on the cross. Some say he moved to Europe and raised a family there. Sounds like the Moslems are a little late in there publishing (1500 years). This is not the first time someone said he didn't die and probley will not be the last.

The writing says they will publish EVIDENCE, and that is quite intriguing, since it has not been done to date.
