My problem is that they're too biased in our favor. of course, this is a perk of being the world's foremost superpower, but really. For the same reasons why monoploies arte bad in business, the same holds true for international diplomacy. The sooner China rises to superpower status and Russia rebuilds, the better.

So you want China to become a would power? Do you know what China does for a living? Forced abortions, and human rights violations, that is what China is all about. You hate your freedom so much, that you actually wish to take it from others? Why not just wish for Hitler to come back and slaughter more Jews?

The US has probably done worse in its history, checked only by the media. Once Chinese news networks get a real bite and some autonomy from the government, then China will have to cut back on its...deviations. China has to hang on to MFN trading status. It wouldn't do for Americans to boycott (or try to boycott) chinese products and cause a ruckus.

Not gonna happen anytime soon. America is just hitting it's stride. The USA will be more powerful in 30 years then it is now, both relative to itself and other nations. Only the USA, Japan, Israel and Europe can build Megawatt LASERs. Europe cannot afford it and Japan and Israel are to small. Weapons Grade LASERs are the biggest change to military Power since the invention of Gunpowder. The only true RMA going right now. Advances in C&C are evolutionary not revolutionary. Russia and China are waving bye-bye at the boat. T.

Why are all these people against the UN? The USA helped create it! It effectively does what the USA wants anyway, and let us not forget that the USA has NOT signed international treaties like the Rights of the Child and No Land Mines - other countries who haven't signed are of the ilk of Burma, China and other flagrant abusers of humanity. In the case of Iraq, the UN has been doing what it is supposed to do - being a stopgap on unilateralism and an international forum. There'd be a lot more problems without it. Saddam is gone. Fantastic, that bastard should have gone ages ago, and it should have been done under the UN. However, it has been admitted by US officials high in the CIA and other powerful bodies that the Oil Lobby effectively controls US policy, and to quote "...the USA has made some really bad, stupid, unethical decisions like originally supporting Saddam and supporting the Saudi government when it is directly funding Al-Queda, all in the name of Oil." I like America, I have lived there. It has done great things for the World, and is capable of World Leadership. This current spat of Unilateralism and Primitive Patriotism does it and its citizens a great disservice.
