When Koffi ordered flags at the UN flown at half-mast in honor of Arafat, was the US flag flown at half-mast?

The UN is like an embassy and isnt US territory,I imagine it was lowered on the UN grounds.

Actually I did. I'm uncomfortable having Koffi decide that my flag should be at half mast to mourn the death of the monster.

They better have lowered them for Reagan, too.

I doubt it. Reagan was an American, and in the eyes of Kofi Annan, America is what's wrong with the world--his world, anyway. I'm sure the Israelis and Jordanians were real pleased to see their flags lowered to half mast.
