Well how do you like my suggestion of stopping legal and illegal (and expelling illegals) Muslim immigration into Europe? It will make Europeans less fearful of terrorist attacks and more willing to cooperate with the US (one of the reasons why France was so vociferously opposed to the Iraq war was that it did not want to upset its huge Muslim minority).

I think europe should stop imagration from muslim countrys tell war on terror is finnished. I think US did allot better on imagration front from simple fact that the bulk of are imagrants are from mexico not the middle east. I bet france would gladly trade all its muslim imgrants for mexicans in a hart beat.

OK... True that they get a morale boost just by changing a government. Should get an even bigger moral boost because the new government wants no part of AQ and is going to go on the defensive. OK..... I don't believe Europe will not do anything against the terrorist but I do believe that they will go out of their way not to antagonize AQ. As above they'll go on the defensive and thus be weakened. And yes, their populations will be divided until such time as the population becaomes tired of being attacked. At which point the lunatic fringe will be ignored. Well.... Sounds reasonable, be ugly as hell and in the final analysis they won't be successful....

I see it reducing terrorism to a degree because there are simply less potential terrorists there. But don't see how you'd ever get it passed by the political correctness police. However, If AQ and gang still wanted murder innocent civillians in Europe, they would infiltrate somehow.

Yes I think WoT will last 20 to 30 years so imagration ban will last along time. This would hopefully help muslims in europe intergrate in europe. As for expelling existing populations im not for that but I would be for deporting the trouble makers who refuse to execpt european values. I see no reason that a country cant get rid of people who arnt citzens and refuse to live within the limits of culture they have moved to. Europe has to many terrorist supporters and terrorist wannbes at the moment its time that those groups were rounded up and set home.

It would reduce terrorism for several reasons: 1) Fewer potential terrorists in Europe 2) Contact with Al Qaeda more difficult (electronic communications are intercepted more easily than personal ones) 3) Fanaticism of Europe's Muslims is being sustained by the fact that they have not assimilated. One reason for this is that they import traditional brides from their countries of origin. This means that even 3rd generation Muslim immigrants in Europe have not assimilated. Just recently, Netherlands admitted that Multiculturalism in the country has failed. "But don't see how you'd ever get it passed by the political correctness police." This is indeed a major problem. The political correctness police is making the life of terrorists much easier and any war against them much harder. "However, If AQ and gang still wanted murder innocent civillians in Europe, they would infiltrate somehow" They could still infiltrate, but planning and conducting huge terrorist attacks is not easy. They must have local knowledge, local supply of explosives is also helpful, local safehouses, etc. It is much, much more difficult to conduct terrorist attacks without a domestic support base. For example, Al Qaeda has been very eager to conduct a terrorist attacks in Japan. This plan failed completely, not because there were not enough Muslims in Japan to aid the terrorist group. Al Qaeda was therefore forced to abandon this. BTW: If immigration from the Muslim countries to Europe is not stopped, Al Qaeda may well win in Europe. In the Netherlands, the completely unassimilated Muslims are expected to make up a majority of 20 year olds and under by 2020!!! Once they are a majority we will have a Muslim country in Western Europe - the Netherlands! France will not be that far behind and so other European countries will follow thereafter. This simply has to stop - political correctness police or not!
