Subject: Scientific Indications in the Holy Qur'an, Part-II
Achernar    5/15/2004 7:19:30 AM
PHYSICS Scientific terms: RELATIVITY OF TIME "They ask you to hasten the punishment. God will not break His promise. A day with your Lord is equivalent to a thousand years in the way you count."[Sura-22: Aya-47] "He directs the whole affair from heaven to earth. Then it will again ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you measure." [Sura-32: Aya-5] NOTE: These verses are clearly indicating the relativity of time. Before Einstein??s theory of relativity people did not know that time was a relative concept, and that it could change according to the environment. Scientific terms: GRAVITATION AND MOTION OF THE HEAVENLY BODIES "(Allah) created the heavens without any pillars that you can see..." [Sura-31: Aya-10] "Allah is the One Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see, then He firmly established Himself on the throne and He subjected the sun and moon . . ." [Sura-13: Aya-2] ??He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. He makes the night to go in the day and makes the day to go in the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon. Each running (on a fixed course) for an appointed term. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving? [Sura-39: Aya-5] "God is the One Who made the sun a shining glory and the moon a light and for her ordained mansions, so that you might know the number of years and the reckoning (of the time). God created this in truth. He explains the signs in detail for people who know." [Sura-10: Aya-5] NOTE: First two verses describe about gravitation and next two motions of the heavenly bodies.

SGTObvious    The Quran is wrong again, Achernar   5/17/2004 8:59:23 AM
"God is the One Who made the sun a shining glory and the moon a light... The moon is not a light. It merely reflects sunlight. We've proved it. We've even been there. Achernar, since The Quran has clearly lied to you, I suppose its time to take up something else. Have you considered Buddism?

"In Turkey insulting a person's religion (any religion) is considered far worse than insulting him and it is also a crime. I wonder if it is also so in USA " Ilpars, it is not a crime here. It is an art.

It is a crime in UK to insult someone because of his religion and insulting his religion. I believe you do not consider UK as facist. And I think, it is also crime in several states of USA under the "Hate Laws". I read some articles about if "Hate Laws" is limiting free speech in US websites.

I believe religious books are not science books. I think this whole topic is unproductive. But IMO; when these kind of topics come to forum everyone has a right to question the wisdom of it. But I do not like insults especially against someone's religious beliefs. There are many things that I find inlogical about other religions (naturally), but I have respect enough not to discuss them in an insulting way. If I wonder about something from another religion, I ask it with respect. I will not reach prejudged assumptions. Am I asking too much if I want see the same from others? Civilised life depends on respect which we show others that does not share a common race, religion, belief, culture with us. If someone do not act according to this than it is a dicrimination. That is why I am against what you have said AK. You could say what you wanted to say with respect. But you chose the way of the insult. Which I find as a religious discrimination and barbaric.

Poster name ??Hammurabi?. Quote was Surah 76:4 - Surely We have prepared for the unbelievers chains and shackles and a burning fire.? We know a fraction what is going on in US built death camp in ??Abu Ghraib?, Iraq. Actually they are used to doing this, which reflect their posts. I never expect much from this cannibal.

Abu Ghraib is not a death camp, it is a place where some intel officers tried their new Physcological torture technics. And as well as I know AK, he is an ordinary man blinded by his hatred. And I do not share your belief in scienitific indications of Holy Qur'an. I believe Holy Qur'an is a holy religious book. It is about ordinary life not science.

>>It is a crime in UK to insult someone because of his religion and insulting his religion.<< Don't tell the Monty Python comedy troupe. >>I believe you do not consider UK as facist.<< Other than the fact that private gunownership is rather limited and they don't speak proper American, the UK is a respectable little country. >>And I think, it is also crime in several states of USA under the "Hate Laws". I read some articles about if "Hate Laws" is limiting free speech in US websites<< I welcome any attempts to sue me in a court of law for dismissing the idea that the Sun orbits the Earth. Let me make it more plainly clear - I hereby proclaim that because Muslims believe that the Quran is the inerrant word of Allah, and that since the Quran claims that the Sun orbits the Earth, that all who claim to be Muslims be regarded as blithering idiots unless they freely admit that the Quran contains false information and that people that believe the Quran is inerrant are blithering idiots. Furthermore, so that there is no confusion about my intentions among those who though their various chosen career paths have taken upon themselves the occupations of lawyers, judges, politicians, and law enforcement officials, let me make it clear that I wish to be formally arrested and charged with a "hate crime" for my words against Muslims. Take note that this will require more men than I have ammunition. I plead the 5th Amendment on questions concerning the size of my ammunition inventory or my whereabouts should those sworn to uphold this law decide to execute an arrest warrant. Let the record show that I freely identify myself as one of the "kufr" - the Islamic term for "infidel" - which the Quran instructs Muslims to kill "wherever you find them." Let the record also show that the Quran, as a text that advocates the killing of non-Muslims until they submit to Islam, and that to its adherents the authority of the text is held supreme above "man-made" laws, including the laws of the United States of America, that all who claim to profess faith in Islam and the Quran are collaborators in a organized effort to subvert the laws of the United States of America concerning murder, extortion, racketeering, theft, sedition, and terrorism. Any Islamic leader who openly professes belief in the doctrines stated in the Quran should be arrested and charged accordingly. Come get some.

1. Islam is not telling Sun orbits the Earth. No muslim scholar have said anything like this in the history. On the other hand some Christian scientists had been trialed by inquisition because they told Earth is orbiting Sun not vice versa. Please refresh your history knowledge. 2. I am Muslim and I know that my religion do not let me kill anyone including infidels. As you are not Muslim, please do not be insulted if I take my knowledge in front of yours. 3. In Islam it is clearly defined that one must obey the laws of the country he is living in. You are also wrong in this prejudgement. 4. You are clearly doctrinated to believe that Islam is evil and all muslims are evil. You are being manipulated. Do not believe everything you have been told but do your own search and reach the facts by yourself. This article of yours is full of hatred and religious discrimination. If there is a hate law in your state in which religious discrimination is a crime, you are indeed in an act of crime. I have no intention or time to sue you but it is clear that you have no respect to your country's laws. As Sun Tzu said to defeat the enemy first you must know yourself, then your enemy. Your hatred makes you a fanatic may be even a facist. And you have no idea who the enemy is. One day your hatred can make you do something that you will deeply regret. As a person, it is my duty to inform you that the hatred path that you are following is false and a self-doom. I know that you will probably do not consider a single word of mine as true as I am a Muslim and therefore should be evil but I am doing my best. And I must add that as much as I know hatred is also a sin in your religion like mine. Am I wrong?

Cannibals eat human flesh, like the practicing Muslims who ate the flesh of the civilian contractors killed in Fallujah and have threatened to eat Japanese hostages. Atrocities such as this are common among Muslims, as should be expected of adherents of a religion created by a child-raping murderous barbarian. Would you like to know more about Muhammad's victims?
