I'm not a Florida officer, but I've been an LEO in both Kansas and Missouri and have sat through several mindnumbingly boring incident management trainings.  I have all the training material on hand, and for the most part I think it is pretty well standardized nationwide, particularly after 9/11.  Do you have any specific questions I can help you with?

you might be able to.

1) email the above and I'll feed my q back through an official email
2) if you're still LEO Fed/State or USG then send through that email account
3) give me 17 hrs+/- as its AH in Oz

You could probably get useful information from ACT Emergency Services. I believe that the Australian Inter-Service Incident Management System that we use is based on a US Incident Command System. Also, Charles Sturt University runs a Bachelor of Social Science (Emergency Management), so the teaching staff there would undoubtedly have information on the ICS.

nope, they don't have what I'm enquiring about - hence the specifics re Florida.  I've got contacts in EMA already.
The questions relate to NIMS.

the Kiwi system is closer to what the US are running than the Aust existing setup.

the reason I'm asking re Florida is that there are specific examples I need to get from operators.  hence why I'm only going through my work email because of the poss nature of the ask...

I think ACT is closer to what California had a few years back, and they certainly don't run the specific suite which is what I'm chasing...

thanks for the assist though...

DHS and HHS (I am in one, work with another) incident management is all internal.

WickedC, I would appreciate if you could flick me an email via the above email addy using your official email.  I'll then get back to you via my govt email. (just to keep it all above board)

NIMS and associated discuss if not a prob.

just remember there is a lag US-Aust so may be 11-18 hrs depending....
