Subject: 2010 political agenda: gun owner registration and legalization of illegals

www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/attorney-general-holder-reveals-aggressive-gun-control-in-response-to-ft-hood-terror-attack-70535237.html [quote] After explaining and defending his decision to give enemy combatants constitutional protections and the right to public trial in civilian courts, Attorney General Holder revealed his support for a national gun owner registration scheme and authorizing the government to ban firearm possession for any person by merely adding that person's name to the terror watch list. Drawing reasonable conclusions from what Holder publicly said, we now know: * Holder wants a national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement. * Holder wants new federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them. [unquote] www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/11/14/MNO91AK714.DTL&type=politics [quote] Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, the White House point person on immigration, said Friday that Congress must provide temporary worker programs and a path to citizenship for 12 million undocumented workers when it takes up reform legislation next year. Warpig:  Yeah, after all, we all know the southwest has really belonged to Mexico for thousands of years, and the Mexicans never stole it from anybody.

I could care less about that silly excuse.  Just because the Southwest belonged to a breakaway former colonial (in other words, not the original title holder), it does not change the fact that the US mugged her then stole half of her real estate.

I know!  Ain't Manifest Destiny grand?  Go west, young man!  Thank God the place was practically deserted and ripe for the picking!  Too bad we ran out of land to grab.  Well, we might still convince Canada--or parts thereof--to come over some day.

Whenever you're finished foaming on about race, it's about illegal immigrants.

More than the $15Billion dollar JOBS bill (enough to prop the largest economy on earth) goes poof across the border every year.
I work in these same shadows. It's the scam of thge century, a very profitable scam with net negative effect on our economy. You can live and work in America AND pay for your parent's mortgage in Mexico...AND their electricity, telephones, internet, auto insurance, etc.

It IS a business. and the 30% of your income is their cheap labor.

All businesses regularly make a decision to reduce, even eliminate, profit in the name of survival...much more than they do to break laws to maximize profit. - Oh, yes they do. I go bankrupt and get laid off many times every year, and nothing can stop me from doing it year after year...not even the prospect of more money (even a gold watch)
You want your business to reduce profits in the name of the survival of a competing business, and you think that the competing business breaking laws to maximize profits is and has been good business....and if it isn't good business, then Photon can check your skin, hair and eyes and cross reference that to your physical address, then decide where in history you actually* belong...and how you deserve to be treated, regardless of what the law states.

Yeah ... oh darn!  Blame the Pacific Ocean for imposing such an abrupt barrier!  Although, I doubt anyone in the States will go Super-Dutch by engaging in a massive land reclamation project that dwarfs the Dutch.

How about we lower our standard of living until there is a significant gap between the US and Canada?  Thereafter, some of us are legals and the rest are illegals in Canada.  There are far many more Americans alive and kicking, compared to the number of Canadians.  We then start stirring up troubles and demand 'independence'.  Finally the Canadians have had enough and grant us 'independence'.  Finally, we vote to join the Union.  (This sort of gameplay should not be unfamiliar to Americans:  More or less the same thing has happened to Texas before becoming part of the US.  Before joining the Union, Texas was at one time 'Republic of Texas' ... whoaaaaa!)

Relax guy, you need a vacation....It's the entitlements. Solve the entitlement problem and then illegal immigration AND the deficits fix themselves.

The only problem is that the problem is unfixable. Politicians created entitlement problem to stay in power. Both Demoblican and Repucrats follow this trend.

It's simple to fix. I believe they do permit the concept to be taught in public school, but I'll admit, I ultimately had to learn from experience instead of knowledge so maybe you're right, which then it's even more important that we solve the problem before it solves itself. Either way, it's very simple.
The liberal congregation needs to understand that - when you give out more money than you take in, you go out of business - This is a scientific fact.

Maybe we can convey the message to the Taco Mafia Caucus that if you add up all the lives government saves, you could theoretically cut the government in half and the 300 million of us would be dead in about 6 months.

Cue hat dance.

So far the gun agenda is complete failure and no one dares to push for more citizen disarmament except for few liberal-controlled states such as Taxchusettes and PRK. Otherwise, the force of gun wins big during the election. Nonetheless, ATF seems to be engaging in closing down FFL via technicality and intimidating individual sales. The admin is also doing whatever they can to prevent the Korean M1 Garand and M1 Carbine from returning to the US. Although they can't do much, it's still a long way from rolling back citizen disarmament in some states such as DPNY, DRNJ, PRK and Taxchusettes.

Immigration reform, on the other hand, gets a lot of momentum because you-know-who depend on voter fraud and illegal votes to keep their offices. The latest disgusting effort by out-going House speaker Nauseating Lugosi is to shovel through DREAM act that would allow illegal aliens in the military and college to attain legal status aka amnesty.

This is utterly bogus.

Illegals can't serve in the military, period. However, there might be provisions in DREAM act to force DOD to take illegals as recruits.

Second is that illegals may attain college. So the immediate effect is that your Politically Correct colleges will start to advertise or even abuse Federal student loan program to get more illegal childrens to go to college as a backdoor for amnesty. Guess how many will abuse that as much as possible at cost of US citizens?

NRA strongly opposes the nomination of Andrew Traver to head BATFE, Calls on President Obama to withdraw nomination

Statement from Chris W. Cox, executive director, NRA Institute for Legislative Action

The National Rifle Association of America strongly opposes President Obama's nomination of Andrew Traver as director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). Traver has been deeply aligned with gun control advocates and anti-gun activities. This makes him the wrong choice to lead an enforcement agency that has almost exclusive oversight and control over the firearms industry, its retailers and consumers. Further, an important nomination such as BATFE director should not be made as a "recess appointment," in order to circumvent consent by the American people through their duly-elected U.S. Senators.
