Obama to end military gay policy US President Barack Obama has said he will end the ban on gay people serving openly in the military. He said he would repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that allows gay people to serve in the military if they do not reveal their sexual orientation. Mr Obama was speaking to America's largest gay group - the Human Rights Campaign - in Washington. He had been criticised by some in the gay community for the lack of action on gay marriage and the military issue. A big gay rights protest march is planned in Washington for Sunday. Thus, the abolition of "Don't ask, don't tell" policy is a guarantee of numerous discrimination law suits. The whole gay pride thing starts to look like part of the plot to destroy Western civilization. Maybe Sharia law isn't that bad after all, since, if you are reading this, you are a man.

Another officer's career cut short due to powerful homosexual lobby:
Actually if you bother to read the article, his video was inappropriate in more ways than just it's anti-gay slurs. I'm sure the gay lobby would love to claim this tosser's scalp, but I think you will find he got done for general idiocy. A senior navy officer should have a clue on modern HR practices and if he doesn't, he deserves to lose his job.

Obama to end military gay policy

US President Barack Obama has said he will end the ban on gay people serving openly in the military.

He said he would repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that allows gay people to serve in the military if they do not reveal their sexual orientation.

I have heard Jim Dunnigan use the term, "patronage armies". I believe this is another example of building patronage armies.
One sees a pattern here with big government people such as Obama. The big government party taxes the people as much as it can to raise revenue. Some big government party constituency receives a reward from the big government party. The reward translates into money, more employment, job security, benefits, etc. The beneficiaries generously support the campaign efforts of members of the big government party with money, volunteer efforts, etc.

The result is that big government politicians finance their campaign needs at tax payer expense. It's a kickback scheme.

We saw this with Obama's so called stimulus which was a bailout of bloated state governments. The nation  incurred a huge financial obligation in order to provide job security for government employees who are most likely active supporters of big government politicians.

With liberals, it's always about greed for money and power. Always follow the money.

One of my state's two senators is a Republican who has been considered at least somewhat conservative.
He flipped on the DADT repeal and voted in favor.
I contacted him and gave my case against this wondering why he voted as he did.
He replied through the mail.

He contradicted himself by affirming in one sentence that same sex attraction people have served. And in the same paragraph he stated in another sentence that he was left with the question whether or not it was right for the U.S. government to continue to deny (same sex attracted people) the ability to serve in our nation's armed forces.

The core statement he made in support of his decision was that DADT is "outdated and no longer has a place in today's military".

One can see he is either unable or unwilling to give a cogent explanation.

Naturally, this event only reinforces my opinion of the Republican Party. It's a rotten floor that you can't trust enough to put your weight on.

"Homosexuality" to me is more important as an indicator of the degree to which society over all has degenerated than as a peculiar form of behavior.

We have thought that we don't need God and that we can do what we want. But going our own secular way has had consequences.

To wit (Romans 1:21-27) :

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

God upholds a people through His spirit when they seek Him out but He backs away from them when they turn away from Him.

You can tell if he's a gay activist or a hard-left statist by determining whether he leans libertarian, and believes that people are just as free to be gay as they are to be wealthy.

Free to erect a Nativity scene at City Hall...Make the occasional bad joke, or to buy a Happy Meal for their children.

OTOH...if they're chanting "We're here, we're queer...anything that offends us must disappear"...

Exactly!

The left marxists are twisting the words and injecting different meaning, or, use their phrase, deconstruction, to hollow out the content of anything.

For example, the phrase "gay right" in Western society is oxymoron, since gays should have no more and no less rights than people who are not gays. That's true equality. The left marxists are always pursuing to make one group of people "more equal" than the other.

Except that under rightist doctrine, gays can't

1. marry

2. serve openly

3. raise kids

4. get benefits for their partners

5. be publicly gay

Puritanical beliefs are unconstitutional for restricting personal freedoms and also hypocritical considering so many gay hating rightists are closet drag queens.

Who is telling you these things?

Combat troops to get gay sensitivity training

New policy OK?d for battlefield

By Rowan Scarborough

The Washington Times

7:04 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011

American combat troops will get sensitivity training directly on the battlefield about the military?s new policy on gays instead of waiting until they return to home base in the United States, the senior enlisted man in Afghanistan said Thursday.

The Pentagon is launching an extensive force-wide program to ease the process of integrating open homosexuals into the ranks, including into close-knit fighting units.

Army Command Sgt. Maj. Marvin Hill, the top enlisted man in Afghanistan where 100,000 U.S. troops are deployed, said that the sessions on respecting gays? rights will go right down to the forward operating bases, where troops fight Taliban militants.

========================================

Yeah, like Afghanistan is not already gay enough.

Guess who'll get the contract as "homosexual sensitivity trainers?"

Your tax dollar at work.
