Singapore and your mother are all heartless, uncaring, greedy, capitalist pigs without any concern for the children that may get treatment while you wait?

I may have jumped the gun on your mom, Herc.
It could be that she views your health as a personal responsibility even more than you do. Extremely difficult to imagine...Please excuse me.

Le Zookeeper    Surgery for what? It should be obvious- I am a fat American immigrant   10/2/2009 2:19:48 PM
Gawd I am American now(been living here too long to make any other claims), I have surgery for eating too much(Obesity related hernia, a real American surgery, since I am not female the next wuld be breast implants)- really!! laughable but point is private insurance is too slow, my mom sould run healthcare in USA.  She already warned me and also arranged a counter offer all with asian nurses.

You think the all you can eat buffet is a secret Chinese plot for communist takeover of USA? I look trim, but I ate too much per my doctor or lifted too much weights, lol.

Is it a hernia, Zoo?  I got mine fixed within two weeks of diagnosis, and that's only because I wanted to wait until the semester was over.  My insurance covered 75% of costs, which were pretty reasonable...though since you live in California, good luck.

Most hernia repair is outpatient, which will save on hospital costs.

If you were rich, you could be recovering already.
If you were rich and morally superior, you'd be recovering and have paid a low-income person's bill while you were there.
If you were neither rich nor moral, and just sitting around complaining and waiting for the government to force you and everybody else to do something about the things you personally don't like, you'd just be a democrat.

Le Zookeeper    Sentinel whatever u got-   10/4/2009 4:36:20 AM

Thats too high, my deductible is $1500 max-annually- its an HSA, its a good plan so no worries here. I am shocked u had to split that much. THats probably an individual policy, I have a good group cal-cobra. My premium is just 90 bucks a month with Obamas 65/35 split. I got a deal.
