Gun control overdue!!!

Twenty-eight people eh? Multiply that number by FOUR and you have the number of Americans killed every day on American Highways (approximately 40,000)

REMOVE AUTOMOBILES FROM THE ROADS TODAY; save 40,000 AMEICAN LIVES ANNUALLY!!!!!

I have tried to stay off the whole "dog pile on Herc" craze on this site, but then you post something stupid like this.  Are you serious, or is this one of those internet troll thing where you are just trying to stir us conservatives up for your own amusement?  If you have a point to make, please make it.  If you have half a brain in your head then you surely are aware that in almost all cases of gun violence several crimes were committed well before the suspect pulled the trigger.  Please explain yourself on this one or just give us all a break and take a vacation.

You can't drive a colt 45 to work - so lets get something clear - a car is a necessity- Just tonite - another shooting death in Santa Clara. Shocking. I love guns, but some people can't handle 'em.

Last week and tonite is a pity for victims of gun violence. I luv guns , don't get me wrong. I mean I lived in Texas for 10 years Elpaso to Laredo- but this is ridiculous. All I ever did with my guns is target practice. Its obvious some people don't know when to draw the line.

You can't draw a Ford GT for self-defense - so lets get something clear - a gun is a necessity - just today - another hit-and-run in USC. I love cars, but some people can't handle'em.

Not the same thing eh?

Hypothetical: a man is going to kill you but he will allow you to chose between an automobile running you over or a .45 passing through your head (since there is no brain matter to contest with the .45, it will be even faster than usual): which do you prefer?

The correct answer is, so long as you are the person in question; who cares?

---Herk---You can't drive a colt 45 to work---

But apparently you can kill more Americans in ONE YEAR than almost the entirety of the Vietnam War with automobiles.

---Herk---so lets get something clear - a car is a necessity---

Actually, if you are going by the text book definition of a necessity, an automobile is NOT a necessity. Oddly enough, humans managed to live for thousands of years with out the automobile so that pretty much shoots down that argument (pun intended).

---Herk---Just tonite - another shooting death in Santa Clara. Shocking. I love guns, but some people can't handle 'em.---

You are a moron. There; I articulated what every rational, sane person thinks when they read one of your posts or one of your threads.

I am not anti-gun. I am just pro life. There are some real lunatics out there. And then there are trains. Somehow i like to maximize my chance to live, while u seem suicidal- 28 Americans per day- think about it.

Don't pity me.  Simply elaborate what you are trying to say here.  How is restricting YOUR gun rights going to solve gun violence in this country?  Most of the people that commit acts of gun violence have little interest in going through the proper channels to obtain a handgun, and are less interested in obeying the laws regarding the preservation of the lives or others or their property.  The line is drawn at the law.  Why punish the folks that are already obeying the law?
