Actually, If I had him in shouting distance (calm down, leg.) I'd just beg...Please Sir, don't let Pelosi loose with her blue state economic bible---damn too late already.

Good Luck, America...and that means President Obama....Happy Inauguration Day.

Does this mean all the political agitation you've been doing lately has been partixan political statements by a uniformed officer?

I think you need to go back through ethics training, specifically the hatch act.

You might want to check that idea, B.  I've always operated on the assumption that you are not allowed to wear your uniform unless you are on duty.  Planning to file for paid IDT points tomorrow (or whatever the NG calls it)?  But then, I admit I'm fuzzy on this point, and acknowledge I could well be wrong--I just know I never did, just to be sure.

Incidentally, while I certainly could attend if I wanted to, I certainly won't be doing so.  I'll use my day off to go to the office and get some work done.

Good thing it wasn't a few days ago.  Still, be prepared to freeze some bodyparts off, SoCal boy--and also make sure you hit the latrine before setting out.  I hear some Parks authority-type person was concerned that the ratio of port-a-potties to Obamiacs was well outside the accepted "comfort range."  Overall, it sounds quite apropos to me, considering the locale.

Darth,

You have no idea who I voted for or why I voted for them.

From your posts on this board I know that you are a uniformed officer who has made multiple statements in favor of the new Commander in Chief. Look at my posts, find ONE I have made in favor of a candidate. It doesn't exist.

If you were, in fact, in uniform, and wearing your rank which you hold in the CA National Guard while in Washington, DC and not on official orders, you were out of uniform. (Ask the former Adjutant General of the MA State NG about that one, in the state he wears two stars, out of the state he wears LTC rank, and had been reminded to do so by the Pentagon)

I frankly don't give a damn what you do while you're on your own time, but when you're in uniform you should be extremely aware that you are setting the example for your soldiers. As many posters here ARE aware of your rank as an officer, you shouldn't be making statements in favor of a candidate at all.

Again, get a freakin clue. Before you do, don't ramble off regs you aren't familiar with. Also, I can make statements as I see fit with regard to who I vote for and why. Starship Troopers is only a work of fiction. Another thing you need to get a clue on. Are you that prejudiced against the President that you would make such ignorant statements?
