Colombia may be starting to settle their problems with narco-mafias internally but a collateral damage has resulted from this so-called offensive gains: War is spilling to neighboring countries. My own country is used by the FARC cartels as a liaison to get weapons from the other ex-war-stricken countries of Central America. So you see, successes there mean disasters somewhere else. Perhaps if colombia would send more DAS and special forces to Panama and Costa Rica it would then push them up North. Ultimately, the final battleground will take place somwehere in the Caribbean or Southern Mexico and Guatemala. The FARC-supported narco-mafias crushed in this region.
