Subject: $5-billion in new armoured vehicles

The federal government is looking to spend $5-billion on the army's armour fleet. This will include 'rehabilitating' the heavily used LAVIII and getting more of these vehicles, obtaining a heavier armoured troop carrying vehicle - track - to accompany our new Leopard IIA6 MBT, and a heavier armoured reconnaissance vehicle to replace the G-wagon.
