Jolly Jack :), A force multiplier is an asset that enhances the combat value of an existing unit by making it more effective. eg, an ASW helo on a frigate becomes a force multiplier, public fear as a by product of an explosion in a public place is a force multiplier for a terrorist, air to air refueling is a force multiplier.. etc etc...
