yes when u are an economy worth 30-40 billion then 3 billion is big.. well that is roughly the amount by which indian forex reserves are growing every month.

Was this news ever printed in any of your Paki newspapers... Looks like these projects will remain projects and never ever be implemented.... Its time to place another nail in their coffins-Hit them where it hurts bad......The gas pipeline thru Pakistan shud be a no-no and alternate routes should be considered...Why pay them even a penny when we know that the money will not be used for socio-economic development but for promoting terrorism in India and the rest of the civilised world...... No Foreign company in their right sense will invest in Pakistan..... we need to hurt them economically and possibly fan the fetering insurgency in Balochistan.....

That so called 'Khaleej Times' is actually 'Ghaleej Times' by all standards! When was the last time, it was ever closer to truth even by at least 100 kilometres!

Further to my previous post, if any money or aid is given to Pak, the govt. actually gets only a fraction of the amount or loan guarentee! Most of the money doled out to Pak is appropriated by it's armed forces(army and it's ISI) In Pak, it the army and army alone, along with the ubiquitous ISI and all it's tentacles, that get the lion's share of everything! Every senior army Pak officer, retired or active, is a multi-multi millionare! Pak is nothing but an extension of Pak-Punjabi-Sunni-army. PURE AND SIMPLE.

I wonder whether Musharraf has been able to enforce accountability within his Army ranks...retired too! nevertheless,the future of Pakis is gettin grimmer and grimmer.....and they're paying the price within their society for nurturing terrorism.... K2:out of curiosity-what do you do for a living.....I am sure you're not based in the US?
