If the cost of bringing supplies in through other areas is cheaper than continued tribute to Pakistan then stop paying Islamabad.

"The Pakistani Army continues to block NATO supply convoys from entering Afghanistan. NATO has increased the amount of supply it gets from the north (via Russia and Central Asia) and has not suffered militarily from the loss of Pakistani supply lines."   Earlier reports indicated that the closure of the Pakistani supply lines forced the military to go on half rations.    Is that the situation now or have the  norther supply routes been expanded enough to provide full rations?
