Large areas of underdeveloped and hitherto out of the news land areas in their control. ALso surprising is that some of the Maoist leadership is from upper middle class Indian families in the grips of"egalitarian utopia" school of thought long after China and Soviets hung it up. Who said Communsm is dead.
