India is conducting a major war-game - code-named "Brazen Chariots" in Pokharan in the western desert of Rajasthan. The site - 60 miles from Pakistan - is also the location where India conducted its nuclear tests in 1998.

Indian officials invited military observers including officials from China and the US to view the games.
