the Leopard 2 main battle tank and the Type 212 submarine). Germany also has had a tradition of effective military forces (just ask the Romans).

Their air force will probably have the largest force of Su-27 fighters in the world (at least 580, compared to the 550 in Russian service). That said, it is still behind, and the Chinese financial situation could go downhill

1 - The only "terrorism" thing Pakistan is fighting is whether the ISI will kill the current President.
2 - New technology?  Pakistan can't even produce a fighter jet on par with the 50s era MiG-19 and is currently forced to buy Chinese hand-me-down tech like the FC-1 and J-7.

3 - The Pak Navy has never wandered more than 40 miles from the coast line.

4 - The Pak Army - can perform with difficulty within its own borders but has a hard time projecting force more than 10 miles outside the nation.

5 - The Pak nuclear force consists of Chinese knock off DF-11 missiles and the Ghauri - an identical copy of the North Korean No Dong.
6 - No space.  No satellite tech.  No stealth.  No ICBMs.  Unstable.  Corrupt.  Nearly bankrupt.  Brought to its knees by a single earthquake.  No tech base and little to export other than terrorism.

 

The question for Pakistan is whether it will become a radical (poor) islamic dictatorship or eventually progress toward a peaceful democracy.  Right now - I see lots of number two dumped over your number one state.

Well let me tell you i talked to an astrologer about this (from france). He said that future powers can be Iran India Pakistan some other Muslim states China Russia  Rsrail and Germany, i asked why he said that these countries are getting rapidly upgraded and are very passionate about there country and have really hostile enemies. I said that USA also do have hostile enemies and is currently developing very fast then why do she will not be a super power? he said that USA has created hate for herself throughout the world in Past 9 years and can go in war with almost whole world. Specially Russia, Iran, China and Pakistan hates her so much and if the four countries gets unified and attacks USA then these is no one to protect USA because these countries will have the sympathy from almost whole world. And if it happens then the remaining super powers will be Russia China India Pakistan Germany France Iran Israel and some other Muslims states.
