| What the American and international audiences are reading in this forum is just a diversion - the US Army has long had laser/ energy weapons under development. Bear in mind that despite the end of the Cold War, it is still policy, be it overt or covert for either PC or Disinformation motives, that the US stay generations ahead of any potential foe via tech superiority over conventional quantity. All that John Q. Public is reading or seeing or buying is just the first generation(s) of weapons and techxx the Army and the its MIC consorts developed as far back as the early 1980's,etc., which will not be released unless the military and the fed feel the sentiments of the domestic public, private sector tech innovations, and the geoeconomic-/-political situation makes it feasible and acceptable. |
