Subject: The story of Jonathan Idema, co author of Task Force Dagger
TriggaFingaz    7/22/2004 5:35:39 PM
Anybody have any views on the operations and now, the trial of former SF operator Jonathan Idema? He was the co-author of Robin Moore's 'Task Force Dagger- the Hunt for Bin Laden'. Idema is now a free lance mercenary waging his own personal war on AQ in Afghanistan but has been charged by Kabul for running a private prison, torture (his detention cell had three Afghans hanging by their feet) and conning NATO peacekeepers into asssisting his jobs. Seems his merry men have helped to disrupt some of the AQT's hits, but looks like he may have gone too far. He claims that his operations were directly approved by SecDef Rumsfeld, with a direct line to the Pentagon office- the DOD and State deny this, they claim he's acting alone.
