TriggaFingaz    Cornered and surrounded: too soon to hope   2/22/2004 10:39:49 AM
It's too early to hope that he gets caught or wasted. First, it hasn't been issued by most papers becoz of too many uncorroborated sightings akin to Elvis. It won't be true until OBL's bullet riddled carcass is placed on film. However, if the SOFs do close in on him, pray that they can overcome his protective detail without taking losses or inflicting unwanted civilian damage. It's gonna be a fireworks display, and his bodyguards are going to put up fanatical resistance. Bring along snipers, Apaches and a company of Rangers with mortars thrown in.

I'll wait 'til I see it a little more widely reported, too. Mainstream news outlets on every continent wouldn't ignore a development like that if there were serious substance to it yet. Also, remember that he's already gotten away by the skin of his teeth once. Don't count your terrorists before their mashed. --Phoenix Rising
