Pakistan ally with China whatever they got from US will handeled to China.

Don't bet anything you can't afford to lose on that. Pakistan is playing the same games with China that they are with the USA in regards to cracking down on Islamic militants that are attacking them, only China has much less tolerance for it, and no troops with Pakistan sitting on their major logistics line.

 

I think you will see major Chinese raids into Pakistani territory before they agree to supply them with new helicopters essentially for free.

Disagree WN. Lots of loose talk about morale logistics and tactics recently, but not one word about Terrain and WEATHER.

 

That terrain is worse than Switzerland, and the weather is simply awful. I think the Chinese would have a rough time of it.

And mind you, that is the EASY ROUTE, one of only three possible. along that border.  

US used to work with Pakistan on basis of cooperation against Soviet Union. Then they worked together on basis of cooperation against Taliban (sort of). When US and NATO leave Afghanistan, what will be the basis of cooperation ? Will there be any ?

 

I said raid, so it is a short to none logistics tail.

 

As for terrain, that is what helicopters are for.
