Whatever happened to all the other French Rafale-fans anyway? Long time passing...


They have migrated to Indian forums, where they are educating other forum members on the mythical capabilities of spectra and its "active cancellation" mode

I've seen some arguing about offensive capabilities of spectra vs dass on IDF, but none assuming that active cancellation mode could blind an aesa lpi radar or so yet...(Which i never did btw )

Hmmm, after reading a lot of online commentaries I'm guessing the Rafale was selected because it's been upgraded a lot of over the recent years to where it's competetive with the Typhoon, because the Indians trust the French as suppliers and because they're a bit crazy.

I'm not saying it's as good as the Eurofighter though, just competetive.

Why not simply say "it's a good plane and it fit their needs"?
