For some reason I'm getting that link added at the end of each of my posts.  Any help with that problem and how to post images would be appreciated (it says I don't have permission to access the folder when I try).
Yes, that is the book I'm talking about.  Page 104 has a talk on the MiG-17 and using a snap roll from an accelerated stall to get a guns kill.  It's also a good read for people that are too obsessed with single point data versus a comprehensive comparison of flight characteristics

What search engine do you use?

It depends. SP is optimized for MS Explorer. Firefox and Opera have problems that i have to talk you through.

WHY HAS NO ONE BOUGHT IT?

Check your facts. It is the Eurofighter that was marketed in Oman, not the Rafale.

Damn you and your enormous sunny nation!!

It's not fair at all but have a great New Year, be very careful of crass stereotypes, there's plenty in the outback!

Ahh, back from holidays and very relaxed.

The crass stereotype I was going for was the bronzed
aussie bushman who shags hot blonde American actresses. I'm not sure
whether it helped but on NYE I did pick up a buxom blonde Brisbane girl
who is into four wheel driving, latin dancing, shooting and going to
nudist beaches. So on the off chance that I don't do something to scare
her off as usual, I'll be saying sayonara save the very occasional visit and a

gf :
""absolutely.  its the same nonsense when others get excited over hypersonic platforms - the developments are about hypersonic weapons
its about capability delivery, its not a platform centric issue ""

Another pile of horse sh*t . First , AtoA missiles have always been hypersonic to start with even over Nam . Then , capability delivery means nothing without the launching platform , it being a manned or an unmanned aircraft .
Pfff ...
Hey gf , why Australia is not thinking about putting 8 Amraams under a beefed-up Spitfire since the launching platform is not an issue ? You had some of the best Spitfire pilots in WW2

Cheers .

So BW evidently didn't know the definition of hypersonic or why hypersonic travel is one of those "boundaries" that is difficult to navigate with conventional materials.

Nice to have another black and white example of his degree of understanding though..
