Subject: F-22 supremacy ? Well ...
Bluewings12    6/24/2009 7:28:43 PM
""international AIR POWER REVIEW" - year 2006, issue 20, page 45. - ISNB: 1-880588-91-9 (casebound) or ISBN: 1473-9917. "more recently, there have been repeated reports that two RAF Typhoons deployed to the USA for OEU trails work have been flying against the F-22 at NAS China Lake, and have peformed better than was expected. There was little suprise that Typhoon, with its world-class agility and high off-boresight missile capability was able to dominate "Within Visual Range" flight, but the aircraft did cause a suprise by getting a radar lock on the F22 at a suprisingly long range. The F-22s cried off, claiming that they were "unstealthed" anyway, although the next day´s scheduled two vs. two BWR engagement was canceled, and "the USAF decided they didn´t want to play any more ."" I dare say that I am not surprised it if is true . Cheers .

Beazz    LOL @ BW   6/24/2009 10:43:14 PM
Lucky for you and France BW the US will NOT export the F22. If the US would put the F22 up for export *as is* and *same price* as we pay, there would be NO more export market for any other a/c period. With the exception of course to the likes of Bolivia and Zimbabwe. lol If they did, in 10 years time there would be TWO airplanes flying in 90% of all western powers. The F22 and F35. Well make that 5. Add the F18 e/f/g for the USN as well as the remaining F15Es around the world and the old trusty A10 for the USAF. And you are worried about the mean ole USA stealing the world export market with that dog F35? lol Put the F22 in the mix and you'd be right for the first time in your internet life! ;-))

I'd still recommend you lay off that cheap wine BW. Apparently you never heard the phrase... don't drink and type.. ???? Ahhh wut the heck, have an other glass BW. Nothing much else to feel good about if you are French and loseing daily on the world market so go ahead. Treat yurself to a nice drunk. lol

Me a "liar" , you are mistaking .
What I see is that one more time , the usual US clowns prefer to shoot at the messenger rather than discuss the facts .

If someone is lying , it is International Air Power revue and not me . That is for a start .
The link I provided (which is not Herald 's but nevermind) can be verified at the official site or even better , buy the mag .
Since I believe it is good for your Egos , I repost it again :

What the F-22 fans have to say ? Oh and btw , I found some stuff on the F-22 which is a bit ... revealing .

Cheers .

This is what I thought , perfectly unable to discuss the International Air Power article ... and still using insults .

Btw , Herald , I repeat that your link is not mine but since you insist on your link , did you notice that the only bloke who tried to defend the F-22 was "Bobsyouruncle" (page 2) who appears to be a LM employee (!) . The other posters shot him down in no time (lol) .

I always said that Rafale and Typhoon were better dogfighters than the F-22 , now it also seems that the Captor can get "a radar lock on the F22 at a suprisingly long range" . Well , the so called "unmatched F-22" is getting lazy or what ?

Cheers .

Keeping in mind the title of your thread, the part of a sentence that you seem most interested in ("surprisingly long range"), while seemingly ignoring or discounting the other part that says the F-22 was not completely cleaned-up at the time, what is your conclusion?  Unless it's that this is actually yet more proof of the crushing dominance of the F-22 over all other fighters, including even the aircraft that many would rate as its closest competition, then you are yet again demonstrating that you are a thoroughly clueless idiot.
