(Rafale almost crashed)

I just called my friend who 's a M2000-5F Pilot here in Dijon and he told me that everybody in the FAF or MN knows about the video . When I asked him if the Rafale Pilot went mad , he laught on the phone and say no . I then asked him if it was really such a close call and he again say no . I asked him why and this is approximatively what his answer was :
"Lt XXX over did it , check the video from 0:10 to 0:14 , he brakes the loop and dives verticaly to make sure to do a low pass then he understand that he is overdoing it and start his excellent recovering , it is a rather close call but he knew what he was doing"

I then asked my friend if he could do a similar manoever with his bird , his answer was short :
"If I keep diving as he does , I 'll better hold to my seat and pull the "manivelle" (ejection in slang) , but I only would keep turning the loop and finish my pass"

Some French Pilots are just a bit "crazy" I believe . Just look at some very low altitude videos posted by various French Pilots , just crazy ...

And what is the purpose of this video? I hadn't went and looked at your other ones so was this the one where you talked about the awesome recovery of the rafail? If so, gawdddd, you still don't get it do ya BW? As you friend said, he realized his mistake WAY up when he breaked for the loop and continued with his recovery.

You just can't understand the F16 pilot NEVER realized his mistake and therefore was NOT making a recovery up at 2500 feet you idiot!! A recovery attempt was NEVER attempted! Had he realized it at the top of his loop do you honestly still think he would have still crashed?? get real BW...

I just wanted to show what a well designed aircraft can do to save a pilot who has been a bit careless .

 

Like many other delta wing lovers , I believe that Dassault is building the best Flyers . And us , delta wing lovers have tons of datas and videos to prove our case and with ease .
