its usually in milliseconds. the other thing is that LPI can be invoked by disparate solutions, eg Differential Frequency Hopping and/or Fast Frequency Hopping. The faster the hop, the faster they autocorrelation and error correction needs to happen for the interrogating aircraft to lock on. the higher the error correction rate, the higher the probability that it will get its intercepts wtrong and the more likely that it will espose its own position.

Couple that with a meeting engagement speed of maybe mach 2 plus - and you don't get much room for guessing.

Then in the middle of that someone does Fox1, Fox2 with a missile set that halves the meeting engagement times again then that means that everything at that point probably goes to custard. ;)
