The F-22 would win hands down. It has a radar signature, and i quote, of a bumble bee (Or about the same as a F-117 stealth fighter). It is more maneuverable due to thrust vectoring. Its two 35,000lb Pratt & Whitney F119-P-100 turbofan engines deliver more thrust then the EuroFighters two 20,250lb Eurojet EJ200 turbofans. It is more aerodynamic because of the internal weapons. It has a much more sophisticated pilot interface. Hands down the F-22 would win. The F-22 is in a category all its own in terms of global fighters. Even the lovely F-15 with a confirmed combat kill ratio of at leat 200:0 is laughable in the face of a F-22. The EuroFighter is comparable to the JSF maybe. Also on the global market of fighter aircraft the EuroFigher is competing with the almost equally priced F-18 super hornet when countries debate as too which one to buy. We all know that the F-22 can beat a F-18.
You said that the F-22 is almost as susceptible to Air to ground missiles as the EuroFigher. Well that simply isn't true. The F-22 has almost the same signature as a F-117 stealth fighter, which has only been destroyed once by a ground to air missile and only because the enemy knew it would be there to shot down. The saturated the sky with missiles to take it out. The F-22 is much more advanced then that and combines our best stealth with the best of all other American technologies
It is actually irrelevant. The United States has admitted to having at least 10 black air craft projects out of which at least 3 of them are manned aircraft. It is suspected that at least some of the funding claimed to have been used on the F-22 was spent on these other projects. It is also speculated that the F-22 is a testing ground for the new technologies being applied to these new air craft. It is almost certain that at least one of the new air craft will be able to beat the F-22 in a dog fight. Just think what would happen to a EuroFighter. The USA still has a air superiority advantage.
